Word Tickle!

David and I getting rowdy during our pillow fight:

Me (while tickling him): You are so makulit, makuliit, makuliiiiit!
David (kicking me back for defense): Mama, mapulit, mapulit, mapulit!!!!

Messing up with his cake on the floor
Me: Oh My God! David what are you doing!!?? What a mess!!!!
David: Oh My God! Mama coquinette! (naughty girl)

David farting while playing
Me: Agoy, bastos nimo nga bata ka! Pala-utot!!
David: Agoy mama, batt-tosss! ça fait utot!

David and I walking along a tennis court
David: Mama regarde, ils jouent penis! (mama look they play penis!)
Me (knelt down at his eye-level): No, sweetheart, it is not penis, it is tennis!
I stuck my tongue out, bit it between my teeth and exaggeratedly said: tee, tee, teee, teeeennis!
David looked at my mouth and the sounds I made. Encouraged by this curious attention, I continued.
Me: Look at my tongue and my mouth, teee, teeee, teeee, see? My tongue is out. When I say pee, pee, peeee, my tongue is hiding, my lips are touching okay? Look, teeee, teeee, teee. The men there are playing teeeeeennis! Not pppenis! Okay, you repeat after me, tee, tee, tee, tennis!
David: Teeee, teee, teee, teeePenis!
Me: Pastilan nimo dong oy!!! Imagine those guys hitting your penis with the rackets!
David: Teeee, teeee, teeePenis!

Happy Weekend everyone!

I’m hooked!

After potato-couching on DH 2 and GA for the past weeks, I was left with Prison Break. The last of the package that for devil-knows why, I left just gathering dust in the shelf for almost a month.

Friday night was my moment. The dark empty screen of our TV staring at me quietly, the house in its nocturnal silence, interrupted only by David’s whistling-snore-due-to-cold and the occasional tapping of the keyboards as hubby worked on his pc.

I ran my fingers through our DVD collections, wondering what to watch while sleep was still far away. I’m not the type of person who actually reruns movies, unless David wants me to watch his films with him.

I discovered that we still have four vcds we bought a year ago while in the Philippines that I haven’t watched; Aishite Imasu, Muro Ami, which hubby watches when he gets nostalgic of the Philippines. Yes, for all his frenchness, when he misses my country, he either listens to Martin or Regine or watch tagalog films, with few words he can only comprehend. Then there’s the horrific Land of the Dead and Sleepy Hallow. None appealed to my current mood. At the moment, I wasn’t into romantic-comedy, dark horrors or seeing gruesome zombies coming to life.

I held Prison Break in my hands, wondering if prison scenes, the convicts, the murderers, the rapists, the thieves and what-hell-have you would capture my interest. Lazily, I tore off the wrapper, chipping-off a finger nail in the process. Cursed the packaging under my breath, and cursed myself for being so lazy to get a pair of scissors. Hubby budged in and declared: “well, finally you’ve opened that thing!”

Friday night was my moment. Lost in the cells of inmates. Hating every devil known to man living in there, and empathizing with them at the same time. Everything in Prison Break is raw. Every character is excellent. The writers are my superheroes! Hell, I can’t help falling in love with the timing of T-Bag when he clicks his disgusting tongue, the comedic PASHION of Sucre, the flicker of fear in Abruzzi’s mob smile, the gnarring hatred pulsating in Bellick’s eyes. And of course you have the mysterious-painful-innocent-desperate-fearful look on Scofield’s face, the physical strength of Burrows softened by fear, desperation, surrender and ultimate acceptance for the electric chair. Only to be awakened by the idea of hope. Hope to defy death and escape prison.

Yes, I’m hooked! No other TV series, well aside from 24, that has really captured my interest to this extent. Sorry Jack, you’re no longer the only man in our TV screen with such power. All the inmates got me!! And I’m pissed off!! I cannot even get a teaser of Season 2 on Fox’s site because although we are a member, our membership rests in France. Somehow, this is the only time I wish I live in the USA. It’s not fair that the guys up there in Uncle Sam’s world get to enjoy the second season! Bring me Fox TV here in France! Right Now!!!

I only need a miracle! And does it help if I still believe in Santa? Perhaps he can make this one miracle for me with Rudolph and deliver the only Christmas gift I wish for this year. Bring me Season 2 please, please!
